RELAY FOR LIFE – LISMORE

It is still 6 six weeks to go until cancer survivors, carers and friends once again come together to celebrate the annual Relay For Life event in Lismore. An astonishing 28 teams have registered so far and “there are hopefully many more to register”, said Anna Fitzalan , who is the events coordinator.
This years event will be held @ the Southern Cross Universitie’s Sports Fields and feature great entertainment from live music, dances and shows to a Miss Relay Competition and of course fantastic food provided by many of the enthisiastic teams.
The opening Ceremony at Relay is all about Celebrating our inspiring Survivors and Carers please encourage anyone you know to come along and be part of it . If they are not in a team they can come along on the day and register for the opening ceremony at no cost from 1pm and then join us in a complimentary afternoon tea straight after the ceremony.
The event will kick off at 3pm on Saturday 2nd August and finish at 9 am on Sunday 3rd August.
